Troubleshooting
Ordered by how often each one is the real cause.
Reminders aren’t arriving
- Check notification permission in Settings → Reminders. If it is blocked, the page cannot ask again — you have to re-allow it in your browser’s site settings.
- The task needs a due time, not just a date, for a relative reminder.
- On Android, check battery optimisation is not suspending Todome in the background.
- Push is per device. Enabling it on a laptop does not enable it on a phone.
Voice capture isn’t working
- Allow microphone access when prompted. Nothing can be recorded until you do.
- Microphones require a secure connection. This is automatic on the live site, and only an issue if you are running Todome yourself over plain HTTP.
- If you have hit the daily limit, you will be told so directly. See Plans and limits.
Calendar sync stopped
- Sync needs Pro or Business. If a beta grant expired, the connection stops accepting new links.
- Revoking Todome’s access from your Google account disconnects it. Reconnect from Settings → Calendars.
- Only tasks with a due date sync. A task with no date has nothing to put on a calendar.
“Google hasn’t verified this app”
This appears when connecting Google Calendar. Todome’s review for that permission is in progress with Google. Choosing Advanced → Go to Todome continues safely — it is the same app either way, and the warning is about Google’s review status, not about anything being wrong.
The app looks wrong after an update
Hard refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, ⌘+Shift+R on a Mac. On an installed phone app, close it fully from the app switcher and reopen.
I’m offline
Todome needs a connection to load your tasks. When there is none, an offline screen appears. Nothing you have already saved is lost — it is on the server, waiting.
