Privacy Policy

Todome (“Todome”, “we”, “us”) is a task-management service that lets you capture and organise tasks — including by voice in Indian languages. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights over it. It applies to our website and application (the “Service”).

• Account data: your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Content you create: tasks, projects, sections, labels, comments, reminders, filters and any text you enter, plus workspace and team membership data.
• Voice input: when you use voice capture, the audio you record is sent to our speech-and-language provider (Sarvam AI) to transcribe and extract task details. We do not use your voice recordings to train models, and we do not retain the raw audio after transcription beyond what is needed to return the result.
• Device & usage data: basic technical information (browser type, IP address for security and rate-limiting), and — if you enable notifications — your browser push-subscription token.
• Payment data: if you subscribe, payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive a subscription/customer reference and status — we never see or store your full card or UPI details.
• Calendar data (optional): if you connect Google Calendar, we store access tokens to create/update calendar events for your scheduled tasks. We only access your calendar events; you can disconnect at any time.

• To provide the Service — store your tasks, sync your data across devices, and run features you use.
• To transcribe and understand voice input and provide AI features (day planner, task extraction).
• To send reminders and transactional emails (password reset, workspace invites).
• To process subscriptions and prevent abuse (rate limiting, fraud prevention).
• To operate, secure, debug and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show third-party advertising.

We share the minimum data necessary with trusted processors:

• Sarvam AI — speech-to-text, translation and AI parsing of your task input.
• Supabase — database and hosting (data stored in the Mumbai, India region).
• Razorpay — payment processing for subscriptions.
• Google — only if you connect Google Calendar.
• Email & hosting providers — to send transactional email and serve the app.

Each provider processes data under its own terms and only to deliver its function to us. We may also disclose data if required by law.

Your primary data is stored in India (Supabase Mumbai). Some providers (e.g. AI or email) may process data in other regions to deliver their service. We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data (you can edit most of it directly in the app).
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Export your data (contact us to request an export).
• Withdraw optional integrations (e.g. disconnect Google Calendar, disable notifications).

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your active workspace. These are required for the Service to function; we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We protect your data with hashed passwords, encrypted connections (HTTPS), session management, workspace-level access controls, and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to fix issues promptly.

The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email.
