Quickstart

Two minutes, ending with a task you captured by speaking rather than typing.

1. Create an account

Go to todome.hobbytime.tech/signup and sign up with an email address, or continue with Google. Signing in with Google is one tap and skips choosing a password.

A personal workspace is created for you automatically. You do not need to set anything up before capturing your first task.

2. Capture something by speaking

  1. On your phone, tap the round microphone button at the bottom right. On a desktop, press Q to open Quick Add.
  2. Allow microphone access when the browser asks. Todome cannot record anything until you do, and it only records while you hold the button.
  3. Say something naturally — “call the supplier tomorrow at five”, or the same sentence in your own language.

The task appears with the date and time already filled in. You did not type a date, and you did not pick one from a calendar.

3. Look at Today

Today shows what is due now and anything overdue. It is the only screen most people need day to day. Inbox holds anything you captured without giving it a date — it is a holding area, not a backlog to feel guilty about.

4. Set one reminder

Open a task and add a reminder. Reminders arrive as phone notifications even when Todome is closed, which is the point — a task app you have to remember to open is not doing its job.

Tip: Install Todome on your phone first (how). Reminders work in the browser too, but an installed app is where they feel like a real notification rather than a browser alert.
